Smart Folders

Smart folders automatically collect recipes based on rules. They update in real-time as your collection changes.

Built-in Smart Folders

We include several smart folders by default:

| Smart Folder | Rule | |--------------|------| | Quick & Easy | Recipes under 30 min total time | | Recently Added | Added in the last 30 days | | Frequently Cooked | Cooked 3+ times | | Favorites | Recipes you've favorited | | Highly Rated | 4+ star rating |

Create Custom Smart Folders

  1. Click New Smart Folder in the sidebar
  2. Set your filter rules:
    • Tags (include or exclude)
    • Cook time (less than, more than)
    • Rating (minimum stars)
    • Cuisine type
  3. Name your smart folder
  4. Click Create
ℹ️

Smart folders don't duplicate recipes—they're just filtered views of your collection.
