Click on any recipe to open its detail view.

2

Click Edit

Click the Edit button in the top right corner.

3

Make your changes

Update any field: title, ingredients, instructions, times, or tags.

4

Click Save to keep your changes.

What You Can Edit

  • Recipe title and description
  • Ingredient list and quantities
  • Instructions (add, remove, or reorder steps)
  • Prep and cook times
  • Servings
  • Tags and categories
  • Photos

Organizing Your Recipes

Use Tags

Tags are the primary way to organize recipes. Add multiple tags per recipe:

  • By meal type (dinner, lunch, breakfast)
  • By cuisine (Italian, Mexican, Thai)
  • By diet (vegetarian, keto, gluten-free)
  • By cooking method (instant pot, slow cooker, grill)

Create Folders

Group related recipes into folders:

  1. Click Recipes in the navigation
  2. Click New Folder
  3. Name your folder (e.g., "Holiday Favorites")
  4. Drag recipes into the folder

Use Smart Folders

Smart folders automatically collect recipes based on rules. For example:

  • "Quick Meals" = recipes under 30 minutes
  • "Vegetarian" = recipes tagged vegetarian
  • "Recently Cooked" = recipes from the last 2 weeks

Deleting Recipes

To delete a recipe:

  1. Open the recipe
  2. Click Edit
  3. Scroll down and click Delete Recipe
  4. Confirm the deletion
⚠️

Deleted recipes cannot be recovered. Make sure you want to remove it permanently.
