DMCA Policy

We respect copyright. If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on our service in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please let us know. We'll investigate and take appropriate action.

1. Notification of Claimed Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our designated agent with the following information in writing:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (such as a URL)
  4. Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with the following information:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of such person

4. Response to Notices

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  • Notify the user who posted the content (if applicable)
  • Provide information about how to file a counter-notification

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 10-14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the removed content.

5. Repeat Infringers

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are repeat infringers of copyrighted works. We may also, at our discretion, limit access to the service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

6. Recipe Content

Our service allows users to import recipes from external URLs for personal use. We respect the intellectual property rights of recipe creators and publishers. If you are a recipe publisher and believe your content has been improperly imported or shared:

  • Please include the original URL of your recipe in your DMCA notice
  • We will remove the infringing content promptly
  • We encourage users to link back to original sources when sharing recipes

7. Good Faith

We process all DMCA notices in good faith. Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
