How Preferences Are Used

Your dietary settings affect:

| Feature | How It's Used | |---------|---------------| | AI Suggestions | Filters out incompatible recipes | | Recipe Search | Can filter by your restrictions | | Shopping Lists | Notes potential allergens | | Quick Cook | Only suggests suitable recipes |

Household vs Personal

You can set preferences at two levels:

  • Personal: Only affects your suggestions
  • Household: Applies to all shared meal plans
💡

If household members have different dietary needs, Quick Cook AI can suggest recipes that work for everyone.

Cuisine Preferences

Beyond restrictions, you can set cuisine preferences:

  1. Go to SettingsPreferences
  2. Select Favorite Cuisines
  3. Choose cuisines you enjoy (Italian, Mexican, Asian, etc.)

These preferences influence AI suggestions and recipe recommendations.
