Make your meal calendar more visual with custom cook names and colors.
Set Cook Names

Open Settings
Go to Settings → Household.

Edit names
Under Cook Names, enter names for each cook:
- "Mom"
- "Dad"
- "Alex"
- Or nicknames like "Chef A" and "Chef B"

Save
Names now appear on meal assignments.
Assign Colors
Each cook can have a unique color:
- Click the color swatch next to their name
- Choose from the palette
- Save
How Colors Appear
Colors show as a stripe on meal cards:
- Quick visual of who's cooking
- At a glance, see the week's cooking schedule
- Color-coded in the mobile view too
Single-Person Households
Even solo? You can use colors for:
- "Easy meal" vs "Cooking project"
- "Healthy" vs "Comfort food"
- "New recipe" vs "Favorite"
